Have we lost touch with the outside world?
Our analog childhoods, filled with entire days spent playing outside are now a distant (but magical) memory. Wonder Escapades aims to reawaken our lost relationship with nature. When brainstorming for the identity, we pulled inspiration from summer camp nostalgia. The smell of bug spray and campfire smoke wafting through the air. A slightly out of pitch voice singing Wonderwall. Ghost stories. Bunk Beds. Friendship bracelets. A sense of wonder.
The logo we designed has a hand-drawn quality and a texture that implies in a past-life it may have been painted haphazardly on the side of a cabin or canoe.
We applied the logo to essential collateral like business cards and stationary but also had some fun dreaming up branded items reminiscent of what you might purchase at a summer camp canteen.
