Starting a business in the cannabis industry is no easy feat. Strict regulations, confusing permitting, and difficult-to-obtain licenses have made the process impossible to navigate without an expert by your side. BeGreenLegal is that expert. Their success helping aspiring cannabis business operators and investors has secured them a reputation as an industry leader, but you’d never know it at first glance.
To protect the brand recognition BeGreenLegal worked so hard to achieve, we decided a complete redesign was out of question. Instead we made some minor tweaks to the logo to make it feel a bit more modern and polished.
We didn’t have much experience in the cannabis industry ourselves so before tackling any other brand strategy we spoke with as many people as possible. We diffused BeGreenLegal’s target audience into three main categories, Investors, Operators, and Property Owners, and went to work. Our insights outlined every decision moving forward from messaging to look and feel.
Using BeGreenLegal’s architectural drawings, an eye-catching bright green accent, and a professional palette of charcoal and black tones we crafted a visual identity that both captured the personality of BeGreenLegal and met the expectations of their audience.
Finally, we created brand guidelines to outline how our new identity and its elements should be used ensuring consistency for years to come.
